About Hobo

I’m a live loop pedal artist, did I mention that yet?

What does that mean? I play loads of instruments, sing, and lay down my own versions of your favourite songs. It’s full of vocal percussion, keys and guitars, and loads more noise than any other one-man-band can make. Scrap that, than many bands can make. I’m kind of producing tracks live and on the fly.

But what tracks? A genre list can be so limiting, but let’s try, yeah? My song list / inspirations/ references, range from: Pop, Funk, HipHop, Soul, Acoustic, and Reggae.

I always come back to this though.. Is it awesome music, and does it make you feel or move? Yes? DONE. Let’s do it..

This includes everything from quieter more emotional vocals (think bride walking up the aisle, or a first dance) all the way through to a slamming party (think loud beats, beefy baselines and songs that grab your guests by the balls and get them dancing).

Speaking of which, I’ve been doing this a fair while. And since experience in this game is SO important (imagine changing wedding schedules, tricky venues, sound tech etc) let me tell you mine. I’ve been a professional, gigging, touring musician for over a decade. This includes touring across Europe, for both gigs AND weddings, and playing alongside artists such as Newton Faulkner, Jurassic 5, and KT Tunstall.

I’m basically a northern lad, who went from the Yorskhire Dales, to London, to The French Alps. I love my snowboard, my beard, everyone else’s dogs (only because `i don’t have my own yet mind) bouldering, getting tattoo-ed, and all tasty pastry - meat things. You can take the boy out of Lancashire…

If you’re still nodding along, go check out what I offer.  Maybe we can be jamming/ dancing/ singing together real soon..
